SaaSiest in Sweden was Incredible

1000+ Founders had this to say

Me at SaaSiest

It all started with an IKEA joke.

It landed (thank god).

I was just in Sweden for the SaaSiest conference and y’alllllll need to know that they didn’t disappoint (I’m going back next year).

I was flown in to speak to 1000+ SaaS Founders/Leaders about sales leadership and how to build revenue.

Here are some of the biggest takeaways based on my conversations and observations.

  1. The EMEA market is different than the US market. Less Aggressive. Less pushy. Way more relationship-based. It’s also smaller. Most of the companies are much smaller, fundraising rounds are much smaller.

  2. The EMEA market works differently than the US. Way more balance. More vacation. Fewer hours. More accepting of hobbies, family, etc

  3. The revenue struggles are the same - Figuring out how to execute, how to build messaging, how to lead. This is universal. The market was hard the last couple of years and they were impacted just as much.

  4. The People were Amazing - Very welcoming, but they were not as ‘verbal’ as US attendees. You’re not gonna get them fired up with an ‘ARE YOU READY?!’ other speakers tried and it flopped. Knowing the differences culturally is key. They are more stoic but love to clap, so I used way more body motion requests in the session.

The biggest signal though was their response to my brand new program. I chose SaaSiest to be where I pre-launched my brand new SaaS Revenue Accelerator program.

The program will work with 20 SaaS leaders/founders that are making $3MM+ ARR and want to scale to $100MM+ ARR. It’s a 12-month program that will go deep with these 20 leaders and I’ll be teaching them the systems I used to build multiple $100MM+ ARR orgs. Reply to this email with “SRA” if you want to learn more list. We’ll be sending curriculum info and costs so you know what’s what.

We had 400 people sign up for the waiting list and the QR code was up for maybe 10s.

Anyways…. I’m back in the US now and gonna get some rest.

That’s all for this week. Have a good one.
